Boat shows have played an important role in Australia’s boating culture, helping people explore new products, discover boating opportunities, and connect with the lifestyle of being on the water.

Launching in 2027, the Australian International Boat Show will bring a new national boating event to Darling Harbour, Sydney, one of Australia’s most recognised marine and event precincts.

The show will feature four halls of boating exhibits within ICC Sydney, supported by an on-water display in Cockle Bay, just a short three-minute walk from the exhibition halls.

While the Australian International Boat Show will be a new event, its foundations are built on deep industry experience. The show team brings together more than 60 years of experience in delivering successful boating and consumer events in Australia, supported by one of the world’s leading international exhibition organisers.

The event will be designed to connect the marine industry with trade buyers, commercial partners, boating consumers and new audiences interested in the boating lifestyle.

The proposed show dates are:

• 2027: Thursday 29 July to Sunday 1 August 
• 2028: Thursday 20 July to Sunday 23 July 
• 2029: Thursday 5 July to Sunday 8 July 
• 2030: Thursday 4 July to Sunday 7 July
